The Green Bay Phoenix womens basketball team drew the number 11 seed in the NCAA Womens tournament field announced Monday night. Green Bay wrapped up the Horizon League regular season and tournament championship Sunday, extending their winning streak to 24 games. At 29-2 overall, there are only five teams in college womens basketball with a better record, yet Green Bay was a double digit seed for the third time in the last five years they've reached the tourney. So not only will the Phoenix get a difficult draw, they'll have to win a true road game to advance. Green Bay will face number six seed LSU on the Lady Tigers home floor in Baton Rouge Sunday evening at 6:30 PM. Baylor, Notre Dame, Stanford and Connecticut were the number one seeds.
