The Associated Press released it's All State girls high school basketball team Wednesday and two area players received honorable mention recognition. Senior Staci Hassler of Sheboygan Falls who led the Falcons in scoring, along with senior Abby VanStelle of CLC champion Oostburg made the list. The player of the year was sophomore Arike Ogunbowale of Milwaukee Divine Savior Holy Angels. The coach of the year was Green Bay Notre Dame's Sara Rhode who after finishing second in the Fox River Classic conference, led the Tritons to the Division 2 state title with a 42-33 victory over New Berlin Eisenhower. The first team All State squad was led by Ogunbowale, along with MacKenzie Latt of Sussex Hamilton, Jessica Lindstrom of Superior, Gabrielle Ortiz of Racine Prairie and Samantha Terry of Baraboo.
