The Milwaukee Bucks had a chance to tighten the Eastern Conference playoff chase but fell to the Hawks in Atlanta 98-90 Wednesday night. The Bucks entered the game in 8th place in the East but trailed 5th place Atlanta by only two and a half games. A bad third quarter did in the Bucks, outscored by the Hawks 29-16. Jeff Teague led Atlanta with 27. Brandon Jennings topped Milwaukee with 21 while Larry Sanders added 19 points and 14 rebounds. The Bucks shot just 37% from the floor with Monta Ellis really struggling, hitting only 2 of 11 shots. The Bucks (34-33) travel to Indiana to meet the division leading Pacers Friday night.
