SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has been formally charged with accidentally wounding his brother with a pellet gun. 18 year old George Phillips was charged Monday with causing injury by negligent use of a dangerous weapon. According to the criminal complaint, Phillips told officers he thought the air gun was empty when he came up behind his 15 year old brother William with two air guns, put them within one to two inches on either side of his head, and pulled the triggers. One BB lodged under the skin of William’s head and he complained of a loss of hearing in one ear. He was taken to the hospital and that’s when police were called. George Phillips is now facing up to 3 years in prison.
