After suffering through his worst season as a pro, Mason Crosby will have a little kicking competition this summer. The Packers announced the signing of first year free agent Giorgio Tavecchio. The Milan, Italy native spent last summer and the pre-season with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of California. Tavecchio hit on 48 of 64 field goal attempts during his career at Cal. Crosby, who has been unchallenged in camp in each of the past five years, made an NFL worst 21 of 33 field goal attempts last season, missing kicks in 8 consecutive games.
