SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man is being held in the County Detention Center in connection with a weekend stabbing in the city of Sheboygan. Police said officers were called to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital at about 3 o’clock on Saturday morning after a 36 year old Sheboygan man was brought in with a serious neck injury. Sgt. Brad Riddiough said the victim and a 33 year old suspect had gotten into an argument when the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck. Riddiough said the victim was taken to the hospital by friends and later transferred to Froedert in Milwaukee due to loss of blood. The suspect fled the scene but was located by officers about 5 hours later and arrested at a home in the 1300 block of Michigan Avenue. Riddiough said the investigation is continuing and alcohol appears to be a factor.
