SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The cause of a fire last month which claimed the life of a Sheboygan man has been listed as undetermined. The fire in an apartment on Ashland Avenue on April 30th claimed the life of 51 year old Randi Hein. Fire Chief Jeff Hermann said the investigation determined that the fire started in the living room, but investigators were never able to come up with a cause. Hein was in a remote-controlled chair and managed to get to a window, but died of smoke inhalation. Firefighters had to rescue several tenants who were trapped on the 2nd floor of the apartment building.
