MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin veterans groups and public broadcasters are trying to gather photos for each of the 1,244 state residents whose names are on the Vietnam War Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.

A wall of faces is being created in a new museum and education center.

The Milwaukee County Historical Society will hold a free "A Face for Every Name" workshop next Wednesday.

People will be able to learn about the project and find out how to help collect photos of Wisconsin service members who died in Vietnam.

Photos have been collected for about half of the Wisconsinites whose names are on the Vietnam War Memorial.

Construction on the education center at the wall is scheduled to start next year.
