WAUPACA, Wis (WSAU-Wheeler News) Wisconsin has its third million-dollar Powerball winner in the last week. A ticket sold at the Fremont Mobil Mart in Waupaca County won the second-prize of a million dollars last night. The ticket matched all five regular numbers, but not the Powerball.
Players in Antigo and Milwaukee each won a million last Saturday night, when a record Powerball jackpot was claimed in Florida. Jason Peck won the Milwaukee prize, while the Antigo winner has yet to come forward.
Almost everyone seemed to have skin-in-the-game last weekend, when 136,000 Wisconsin players won something short of the 590-and-a-half million-dollar jackpot. Last night’s top prize was %40-million, and only about 8,500 Wisconsinites won smaller prizes.
The numbers were 9, 31, 35, 41, and 57. The Powerball was 26.
The jackpot rose to $50-million for Saturday night. The top prize in Mega Millions is $15-million for tomorrow night.
