SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - State Senator Glenn Grothman of West Bend is working on ways to give money back to the taxpayers.
Grothman, on Sheboygan’s Morning News, said property taxes statewide are expected to go up about 2 percent next year. He says that’s good, but it could be better. Grothman says with income and sales tax revenues coming in above projections, he is hopeful that an effort can be made in the upcoming weeks to lower property tax bills that will be out in December.
We asked him if giving back the money is difficult. Grothman thinks it shouldn't be because of the Republican majority in the Legislature.
