SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Governor Scott Walker will be in Sheboygan sometime in the near future to help promote Manufacturing Month in Wisconsin. The original schedule would have had the governor visit Vollrath on Friday as part of a series of events scheduled in October to recognize the manufacturing sector.
According to Bret Blizzard, public relations manager of LTC, a change in the welcome home for the Plymouth-based Wisconsin Army National Guard Battery B, 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery unit to Oshkosh would conflict with the Sheboygan stop. He did confirm that a new date will be scheduled.
Walker proclaimed October as Manufacturing Month to bring attention to the nearly 50-billion dollar sector of the state’s economy.
