SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Police say three fires on the city’s south side over a three day period are not a threat to the general public. The incidents occurred Saturday in the 800 block of South 14th Street, Sunday in the 2800 block of South 10th Street, and Monday in the 2400 block of Wedemeyer Street.
Captain Jim Veeser said, as of now, the incidents may have been targeted events. They do have a person of interest they wish to talk to regarding the Wedemeyer incident but, other than that, the department cannot determine if the fires are connected or were intentionally set.
An investigation by the police department is ongoing.
