STEVENS POINT, WI (WTAQ) - Stevens Point police say they were forced to use a stun gun to subdue a “belligerent” father at a high school.
Authorities say the man was looking for his son at Stevens Point Area High School around 12:30 p.m. Friday and refused to sign in.
A school officer escorted the man outside, where he allegedly continued the argument and dropped a pocket knife while showing identification.
Police say when the unidentified man ignored commands to not pick up the knife, they were forced to use a stun gun.
No one was injured and police say students were never in real danger.
