WASHINGTON D.C. (WTAQ) - Wisconsin U.S. Senator Ron Johnson and Representative Gwen Moore say they are backing President Barack Obama’s plans of a military attack on Syria.
President Obama announced he would seek congressional approval before launching a military strike. Both lawmakers say Syrian President Bashar Assad has committed human rights violations and is a threat to international peace.
Meanwhile, some activists in Milwaukee protested any military action in Syria, saying bombing the country will solve nothing and there needs to be a diplomatic solution.
