TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - For the 16th year Sheboygan North and South High School students will be building a new home. A ground breaking ceremony for Project 2013 took place Wednesday morning on Wild Meadow Drive in the Town of Sheboygan. The nearly 2,000 square foot one story home with basement will have three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a three car garage.
Career and Technical Education teacher Jeff Grunewald said his students will be ready for this year’s project thanks to proper training beforehand. Students will be on site for up to 90 minutes every school day, no matter the weather
District Assistant Superintendent Mark Holzman said this program would not be possible without the support from area businesses.
The house will be completed by the end of the school year with an open house scheduled the day before graduation.
