Tyler Farr 's career is in overdrive these days as he watches his gold-certified, breakthrough hit, "Redneck Crazy," continue its fast climb up the country chart.  His album of the same name will be out September 30, and Tyler is celebrating the impending release with a show at The Stage on Nashville's famed Lower Broadway Wednesday night.  So, how does Tyler feel as he deals with all this new found success?

He tells ABC News Radio, "The best way to describe where it's been in the past month is, I would say, how a player feels getting called up from the triple A ball or minor leagues to come play in the major leagues.  You're like, 'OK, we're here now.'"

Tyler will support his music with an opening slot on Florida Georgia Line 's tour starting next month.  Since this will be the first time most fans see Tyler perform live, he's working hard to get himself and his band ready for the shows.

"I hold my guys to a pretty high standard," Tyler says.  "I take it very seriously. I don't take myself too seriously. I do take my career, seriously, though."

Tyler knows it's not the end of the world if something goes wrong on stage, though.

He adds, "You just roll with it and make changes where they need to be in the set or your shows and just kinda take it one day at a time and learn as you go."
