MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - Sparked by a lead-off home run by Carlos Gomez, who - prior to the game - received his Gold Glove award earned in 2013, the Milwaukee Brewers got a narrow 3-2 win over Pittsburgh Saturday night. With the game tied at two in the bottom of the eighth inning, catcher Jonathan Lucroy hit an R-B-I single, with Ryan Braun scoring the game-winning run. Jim Henderson picked up the win in relief of Yovani Gallardo. Francisco Rodriguez got the save. Milwaukee has now won eight-straight games, and owns the best record in Major League Baseball at 9-2.
