MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - Milwaukee pitcher Matt Garza allowed two runs on four hits and seven strikeouts Friday night in a 5-2 win over his former team - the Chicago Cubs. Garza picked up his first win of the season, while helping the Brewers notch another win on a so-far impressive start to the season (17-6). Francisco Rodriguez picked up his 10th save, striking out two of the three batters he faced in the ninth inning. With the save, K-Rod moved into 18th place all-time, notching his 314th career save. The Brewers pounded out a total of 12 hits on the night, with Carlos Gomez and Ryan Braun leading the way with three hits apiece, while Lyle Overbay homered for the first time this season.
