MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - Milwaukee pitcher Matt Garza allowed two runs on four hits and seven strikeouts Friday night in a 5-2 win over his former team - the Chicago Cubs. Garza picked up his first win of the season, while helping the Brewers notch another win on a so-far impressive start to the season (17-6).   Francisco Rodriguez picked up his 10th save, striking out two of the three batters he faced in the ninth inning.  With the save, K-Rod moved into 18th place all-time, notching his 314th career save.  The Brewers pounded out a total of 12 hits on the night, with Carlos Gomez and Ryan Braun leading the way with three hits apiece, while Lyle Overbay homered for the first time this season.

Game two of the series is Saturday night.  Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 5:35.
