SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Travis Tramte was found guilty Thursday of reckless homicide in the heroin overdose death of Kathryn Jakimczyk.  It took a jury over two hours to make their decision Thursday afternoon after hearing two days of testimony in Sheboygan County Court. Wisconsin Badgers let opening game slip away in 28-24 loss to LSU

HOUSTON (WTAQ) - The LSU Tigers rallied for two 4th quarter touchdowns to come from behind and edge Wisconsin, 28-24.

The game was played Saturday night at NRG Stadium in Houston.

The Badgers defense had stifled the Southeastern Conference powerhouse for the first three periods and Wisconsin was leading at one point, 24-7.

Then, Tiger running back Kenny Hilliard took over. He carried LSU on a game-winning drive, racing through a hole on the right side of the line from 28 yards out for the winning score.

An interception of a Tanner McEvoy set the Tigers up.

LSU has won 46 consecutive non-conference games – best in the nation.

Melvin Gordon carried the ball 17 times for 138 yards and a score for the Badgers.

The story of the game came in the passing statistics – where LSU’s Anthony Jennings threw for 238 yards and 2 scores, while McEvoy hit just 8-of-24 passes for 50 yards and 2 interceptions.

Western Illinois is next for the Badgers, coming to Camp Randall Stadium for an 11 a.m. kickoff next Saturday.
