SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - For the first time in several months, home sales numbers in Sheboygan County improved from 2013 figures.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association said June home sales were up three units compared to last year and the median price was up over nine percent to $132,750. The good month last month is not enough to offset lower sales from earlier in the year. Halfway through 2014, 25 fewer units have been sold in the county, and median prices are down over three percent.
Across the entire state, home sales numbers went up in both units sold and the median price last month, but so far this calendar year, the number of homes sold is down nearly five percent with home prices up 3.6-percent.
