UPDATE - Recent arrests made for burglary, theft from motor vehicle incidents

SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man faces a number of theft charges for stealing items from vehicles and a garage earlier this month.

According to the criminal complaint, 31 year old Joshua Gabrish is accused of taking part in six such incidents on Sheboygan’s north side between July 8 and 18.  Items stolen include tools, electronics, clothes, a bicycle, and wallets.  The victim of the last reported incident gave Sheboygan Police the names of possible suspects, one being Gabrish.  Authorities executed a search warrant of his residence on Carl Avenue Saturday.  There they arrested him and found a number of stolen items from the recent thefts plus other possible previous incidents.  Gabrish now faces over 16 years in prison for all charges he faces.

Sheboygan Police arrested a second person connected to these crimes, but no formal charges have been filed.  They are also helping to return stolen items to proper owners, and are asking anyone who was a victim of a theft from a garage or vehicle to contact them at 459-3333.
