SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Dave Resnick, of Sheboygan, says he intends to keep on working even though he's Wisconsin’s latest millionaire. Resnick won a million dollars in last week’s Powerball drawing and appeared Monday morning at a news conference at the Q Mart on Weeden Creek Road, where he bought the ticket. He said he's been playing the lottery since it began in 1988. Resnick says he never picks his own numbers. He said he always checks his tickets the following day and was shocked last Thursday when he put it in the machine at Q Mart and the machine indicated "claim your lottery ticket at the Madison office." Resnick said he had won $500 playing the lottery about five years ago. Resnick is 52 years old, married with a daughter, who just graduated from Sheboygan South High School. He says he intends to bank the money and let it grow, help his daughter through college, and take a trip to South Dakota.
