MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers won their series against the Miami Marlins following a 4-2 victory in the finale from American Family Field on Thursday afternoon.
Adrian Houser earned the win after surrendering two runs and striking out five batters over five innings. Devin Williams notched his 34th save of the season with a clean ninth inning while Tyrone Taylor drove in a pair of runs to lead the offense.
Milwaukee leads the NL Central by four and a half games over the Cubs .
The Brewers will now welcome the Washington Nationals to American Family Field for a three game weekend series. Game one is Friday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 6:35.
