Ronald Kerney of Kileen, Texas used the $1,200 check he recieved to feed those in need. The 61 year old said the idea came to him after the local supermarket shut down and he saw fellow residents struggling. Kerney purchased hundreds of hot dogs and burgers in bulk to feed the families in his community. He handed out means and to go bags to anyone who stopped by.
