Now is there more to it than that? Perhaps. I made the mistake of actually clicking on the article to read the details (dumb), and apparently you also need a degree in food science, have experience managing a food service, as well as ‘practical and scientific experience with bakery products’ just to get an interview. Currently I have ‘proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel’ on my resume, and if we’re being honest I’m stretching the definition of ‘proficient’ quite a bit, so I’d say I have a ways to go to qualify for this particular gig. But, as I always say, the only thing standing in-between me and a job I’m unqualified for is whether or not that employer vets the resume I give them. The more you know.
