(WHBL) – A federal grand jury indictment was issued Tuesday against 29-year-old Malachi Hetzer and 32-year-old Breanna Pieschel of Manitowoc. The indictment alleges that the two conspired to distribute more than five grams of actual methamphetamine – or “crystal meth.”
Their arrests happened this past October after agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice observed the two meeting in Milwaukee, and their vehicle was subsequently stopped on I-43 south of Manitowoc. Along with 35 grams of meth, the two were also found with heroin and fentanyl.
If convicted, Hetzer and Pieschel face a mandatory minimum of five years, and up to 40 years imprisonment as well as a fine of up to $5 million, and an additional four years to life on supervised release.
