Laugh out loud funny picture of our boy, William Shakespeare, becoming the first man to receive the Pfizer COVID vaccine in England:

Poor William. I’m going to assume that being named William Shakespeare in England hasn’t been a joyride for him. I would also venture a guess that he’s probably tried to avoid telling people his name for a lot of his life. Imagine 81 years of this scene playing out every time you tell someone your name:
‘Name?’
‘William Shakespeare.’
‘Har, har, sir, now what is your name?’
‘No, really, it’s William Shakespeare.’
‘Really??’
It’s a minimum 2-3 minute conversation every single time you bring up your name.
And don’t even get me started on the pressure this has likely put on his love life. Imagine trying to woo someone and your name is William Shakespeare?? Brutal.
So the look on his face makes complete sense. He’s tried his entire life to keep his name lowkey, then a global pandemic hits and he just happens to be one of the first people to receive a vaccine. His name and picture are blasted out onto every major news source’s social media pages, he’s on the nightly national news in every country, just a total disaster. The look on his face in the above picture looks like the real life version of the ‘this is fine,’ dog meme:

A vaccine by any other name would smell as sweet, eh William?? I’ll see myself out.
