SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – When a convicted sex offender reaches the completion of their court-imposed sentence, they must be released from custody. But those offenders are watched closely after their release, and the public is notified not to cause fear, according to the Sheboygan Police Department, but out of the belief that “an informed public is a safer public.”
41-year-old Timothy D. Johnnies will be paroled next week and reside at 930A Michigan Avenue, having served his sentence for theft of movable property, and resisting and obstructing an officer causing substantial bodily harm. Because of prior sex-related convictions and the potential to re-offend, Johnnies will be under 24-hour electronic monitoring and will be supervised by probation and parole agents.
If Johnnies is found to have violated any of his rules and conditions, he’ll be returned to confinement. The public is asked to contact the Sheboygan Police Department with any such reports or questions.
