The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has identified the bicyclist who suffered fatal injuries when she was struck by a car near Greenbush on Saturday.
Officials say that 54-year-old Karen Patton of Fond du Lac was killed when a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Saint Cloud man passed a second bicyclist who was with Patton as they were eastbound on County Road “U” near Forest Road. The driver didn’t see Patton after passing her male companion and struck her when he re-entered the lane of traffic. That accident remains under investigation.
