Highway 42 will be closed just west of Manitowoc as Wisconsin DOT crews prepare to replace a bridge.
The closure began on Tuesday and will involve demolition and replacement of the existing bridge over Silver Creek just south of Highway 151.
Traffic is being detoured around the project via I-43 and Manitowoc County Highway “C”. If all goes well, the project should be complete sometime this September.
