Some Sheboygan County area roads became slippery with a brief, light snowfall that started shortly after 5 a.m. this morning. That snow is not expected to last, though, with temperatures and eventual sun expected to make it disappear by later today.
The National Weather Service is keeping its eyes on a system that’s expected to affect much of south-central through east-central Wisconsin on Friday night and Saturday. Multiple inches of a wet, heavy snow can be expected, but it’s still uncertain where that band will set up. Whatever does fall is likely to collect on grassy areas, as road temperatures are warming, and that system should be out of the area by early Saturday evening.
