Braves Broadcaster gets a number while doing an in-game interview. Internet DIVIDED on the move.

So I saw this video last night, laughed, and then went about my business of scrolling through Twitter for another hour even though I should be sleeping. Didn’t think much of it, other than that it might be on-air or blog fodder today.

Cut to the aforementioned ‘today.’ I went back to find the video and play the clip on the air, and when I clicked on it and started sifting through the comments, I was somewhat surprised to see this guy getting DRAGGED by a large majority of the people throwing in their two cents. “Inappropriate, cringe, YIKES, this ain’t it,” etc.

I’ve got to be honest, I thought this was amusing content at best, at worst it was a nothing burger. But maybe I’m wrong? I’ll grant you, I’m a middle-class white guy in his late late 20’s/early 30’s, so maybe I’m simply missing a double standard here or not seeing it from someone else’s perspective. Definitely a possibility. But it seemed like everyone involved here was having some innocent fun.

So….thoughts? Like any good blogger/podcaster, I will wait for the majority opinion to be submitted and then parrot that take.
