Carrie Underwood surprised all New Artist category winners with some good news in advance of the 54th ACM Awards. She called Luke Combs, LANCO, and Ashley McBryde to tell them they are early winners:
- Luke Combs: New Male Artist of the Year
- LANCO: New Group of the Year
- Ashley McBryde: New Female Artist of the Year
These are the first ACM Awards for all three acts. In addition to the trophy, they’ll all be added as performers on the show along with Carrie Underwood and all previously announced performers. But there’s more, all three are also nominated for Male, Group, and Female Artist of the Year respectively to be announced on the show.
