The number of known active cases of COVID-19 in Sheboygan County has now been on the rise for two weeks after reaching a minimum of 59 cases on April 7.
On Thursday the 21st, another 11 confirmed positive tests were noted by the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health. Along with 6 recoveries, the active case count rose by five to 106, and the total number of cases during the pandemic rose to 29,487. The 7-day average of daily new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sheboygan County was 7.
Death and hospitalization totals were unchanged, and no one is currently hospitalized in Sheboygan County for COVID-19.
With 26 more persons receiving their first dose of vaccine, the total rose to 72,596, or 63.0% of the county population. Another 19 got their second dose, pushing that total up to 69,709, or 60.5%. 38,215 persons, or 33.2%, have received boosters, 61 of those within the last day.
