So KCRA Channel 3 in Kansas didn't have the video paired with this story embedded on their Youtube page where I could easily steal it and not give them credit, but you can click this

to watch the video-story connected to the grainy image I screenshotted above.
The gist of the story is that everyone has handled the pandemic/quarantine differently. Some people have picked up a new skill (Lindsey learned how to knit), some people read books and became more well rounded/learned individuals, some people went for two runs during the first week and then settled into 74 straight fat days like me. And some people like Tom Trompeter wandered around to different yard sales and snatched up enough odds and ends to build a car.
Amazing! I guess this thing books it at 25 mph, not enough to power a Flux Capacitor, but still nothing to sneeze at given the parts he used to put it together. It just goes to show you, all people react differently to an unforeseen global crisis. Tom Trompeter used his free time to build a working car from spare parts, I am now utilizing my XL hoodies again. Potato, potatahtoe.
PS: I actually did accomplish one thing during this pandemic: Started a retirement fund. A Roth IRA! I have no idea what that means, but it sounds very adult, and I'm working it into every conversation I've had since. 'Hey Jim! Nice day today! Good day to check on the ol' Roth IRA too! Gotta touch base with my broker this afternoon.' It sure beats the hell out of my previous retirement plan: baseball cards and Packer stock.
