The Manitowoc Police Department is sorting out details behind an incident that left one victim with gunshot wounds.
Police officers were sent to the 2700 block of Viebahn Street in the City of Manitowoc at about 12:30 on Saturday afternoon, responding to reports of the shooting victim. The person injured was taken by the Manitowoc Fire Department to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, and at last word the search was still underway with leads being actively sought by Manitowoc Police.
