The League of Wisconsin Municipalities has chosen Sheboygan Falls’ Mayor as its Second Vice President. The move puts Randy Meyer in position to become League President in October of 2025.
Meyer was elected Mayor of Sheboygan Falls in 2004 after serving as an alderman on the City Council for five years. He was a financial planner for 20 years and now owns and operates Meyer Motivates.
Meyer uses the platform to relate the experience of losing his eyesight to cancer at age 2, but with a “never-give-up” spirit, has risen to prominence in several endeavors. Meyer was recognized as outstanding by both the US and Wisconsin Jaycees, is a National Wrestling Hall of Fame Inductee, was an All-American and Academic All-American Wrestler, and was recognized in the Wisconsin Main Street Hall of Fame by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
Upon his appointment, League Executive Director, Jerry Deschane called Meyer “…one of those game-changing local leaders”, and said that Randy Meyer will be a “great leader” of the League of Municipalities.
