Bravo! Bravo! Bravisssimo! More! More!

I don’t know why that Brendan Fraser gif ended up in my “crying applause gif” search, but it makes me laugh every single time I see it. Literally looked like the first time he attempted to clap in his life and he did it on national TV at the Golden Globes. It looks like what it would sound like if I tried to do the morning show in Latin tomorrow morning.
Anyway, as I say every single year we blog about this, this is my favorite blog of the year. And it is especially exciting this year because it’s Rory’s menu and we had Rory to win the Masters outright last year at 11:1. Kind of thought I might get an invite because of that, but my guess is I’ll be on Day 3 of Easter ham leftovers on April 7th and not in attendance at the Champions Dinner.
Now every Masters winner tries to inject their heritage into whatever meal they pick, so because of Rory’s Irish descent I assumed we see a lot of potatoes, steamed cabbage, and arguments.
But I was pleasantly surprised! At first I thought there were NO potatoes, but then I found out that, “Traditional Irish Champ,” is basically mashed potatoes with butter and milk. You can’t go wrong with a filet or salmon as a main course, but the appetizers really stole the show for me. A peach and ricotta combo?? Brilliant! Bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese?? Masterful! Rock shrimp tempura? YES YES YES! And grilled elk sliders with a garlic aioli?? Don’t threaten me with a good time!
Top it all off with Sticky Toffee Pudding and just give me a Tums and roll me to bed.
Overall rating: 10/10. No notes. No notes? NO NOTES!
