This week is National Police Week, and you may notice the observance if you listen carefully just before midnight.
Today is National Law Enforcement Memorial Day and to commemorate, bag pipers will play Amazing Grace at locations across the state, honoring fallen officers. Tonight, Bruce McFarlane with the Greater Milwaukee Fire and Police Pipes and Drums will perform the tribute song at the Sheboygan County Law Enforcement Memorial, which is located just outside the Sheboygan County Law Enforcement Center at 525 North 6th Street, Sheboygan, WI 53081.
The Midnight Piper service starts at 11:55pm and is expected to last 10 minutes.
