A major route that connects one side of Sheboygan Falls with the other will be closed for repairs beginning on Monday. Monroe Street, also designated as County Highway PP, will be completely shut down to through traffic for concrete replacement and related work beginning at 7 AM Monday.
Concrete removal should take about a week, and pouring of the new surface should begin the following week. About three weeks in all will be needed before the route is re-opened. Until then, you’ll encounter the barricades on Monroe Street at Broadway and Water Streets, and on Water Street at Madison Street.
