Packers co-ordinators Stenovich, Gannon talk progress

(LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers offensive co-ordinator Adam Stenovich had a lot to say when he spoke to the media on Wednesday.

Starting with how the offensive line is progressing, Stenovich said that Jordan Morgan is settling in at left tackle after being forced to move all over last season.

Stenovich also said that defensive co-ordinator Jonathan Gannon’s defensive aggressiveness in practice will help the offense and the linemen.

Stenovich talked about his favorite part about coaching Tucker Kraft after Kraft came off the PUP list earlier this training camp.

He also talked about offensive lineman Anthony Belton in his second season.

In the offensive backfield, Stenovich was asked if he isconfident that Marshawn Lloyd has put all of his injuries behind him.

On the defensive side: Packers defensive co-ordinator Jonathan Gannon talked about a number of topics.

Among them was that the Packers won’t get Micah Parsons back until a handful of weeks into the regular season. How do they prepare Parsons for that time, knowing he won’t start practicing until a couple weeks before that?

Gannon said that Parsons will be able to fit right in.

With Carrington Valentine sidelined with a hamstring injury, they’ve given much of the work in his place to rookie Brandon Cisse. – Why?

Gannon said that there’s a reason why its hard for rookies to jump in and excel right away.

Gannon said that the deck is stacked against rookies, but if they earn time, they’ll get it.

Family Night things to know: A fun-filled day and evening awaits fans at ‘Packers Family Night, Presented by UW Health Kids’ this Friday, Aug. 7.

A very limited number of event tickets remain available to purchase. Fans interested in attending Family Night are reminded to secure their tickets as soon as possible by purchasing them at Ticketmaster.com.

All Lambeau Field and Titletown parking passes have been sold. Fans who purchased mobile parking passes are asked to have their passes ready on their phones when they enter the Lambeau Field parking lots, starting at 3:30 p.m. Those who do not already have a parking pass for the Lambeau Field lots are encouraged to take advantage of ample parking available throughout the neighborhood by observing posted parking rules and following local ordinances. Paid parking may also be available at a variety of local residences and nearby businesses. Limited ADA accessible parking is available in Lot 4 and Lot 7 on a first-come, first-served basis for $5 payable via credit or debit card only. An ADA placard or ADA license plate is required to gain entrance to these parking areas.

Titletown’s Family Fest, presented by Lodge Kohler, will kick off Friday’s festivities beginning at 3 p.m., with free activities for all ages. A schedule of events is available at titletown.com/events/family-fest.

The Lambeau Field parking lots and the Johnsonville Tailgate Village will open at 3:30 p.m., with food and beverages available for purchase along with family friendly entertainment throughout the day. The Fan Walkway on the east side of Lambeau Field will offer a variety of giveaways, games and activities for families and kids to enjoy starting at 3:30 p.m. The Lambeau Field Atrium will open to ticketed guests only at 1:30 p.m., with exit/re-entry allowed until 3:30 p.m. through the American Family Insurance Gate.

Gates for the event will open at 5:30 p.m., with the team taking the field for warmups at 7 p.m. and practice beginning at 7:30. The format of this year’s Family Night will again be a full practice, in order for the team to accomplish its preparation goals for the regular season.

The evening remains family-focused and will feature a game-like atmosphere, featuring a thunderstick giveaway courtesy of UW Health Kids, King’s Hawaiian, Sargento, CareSource and Meijer, use of the video boards featuring promotions by Bernatello’s Foods, Kwik Trip and other partners, gameday music, jersey giveaways sponsored by TDS and a fireworks show presented by Ticketmaster at the end of the night. Families attending can look forward to more kid-favorite food items at select concession stands, including Sara’s Artisan Gelato (Section 102 and Atrium), cotton candy (Sections 108, 125, 128, 138, 319, and Johnsonville Tailgate Village) and shaved ice (Sections 107, 112, 127, 132, 326, 352 and Johnsonville Tailgate Village).

On-field activities prior to the start of practice include scrimmages between youth football teams from the Northwest Wisconsin Champions league, presented by UW Health Kids, and performances by the Green Bay Elite Dance Team, TundraLine and the Milwaukee Bucks Hype Team, presented by CareSource.

Fans are also invited to see the new Packers Sensory Activation Vehicle, presented by Ticketmaster, in the Atrium, with Packers alumnus Dexter McNabb greeting fans from 4 to 6 p.m. The SAV, designed to support sensory regulation for neurodivergent fans or those with sensory needs, will be just inside the Oneida Nation Gate.

Attendees are reminded that Lambeau Field and all of its businesses are cashless. Those without credit/debit cards or contactless payment solutions may use a cash-to-card conversion station in the Atrium. Guests with special needs should note that wheelchair assistance is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with mobility challenges are encouraged to use their own wheelchairs.

Fans are asked to note the stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12” by 6” by 12”. Stadium cushions are not allowed as a part of the policy, however, stadium seats and stadium pads that contain no pockets or zippers and are 18” wide or smaller are allowed. All fans entering Lambeau Field will use walk-through metal detectors. Carry-in and security policies can be viewed at packers.com/lambeau-field/carry-in-policy. In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show – are canceled.
