A collaborative effort of several fire departments is credited with the quick containment and extinguishing of a shed fire on Rhine Road, Saturday.
According to the Elkhart Lake Fire Department, the small shed fire spread to nearby brush, at which time UTV’s were called in to assist crews working the scene. Crews from Elkhart Lake, Kiel, Glenbuelah, and Sheboygan Communications personnel all worked to ensure the flames did not spread further.
There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
