Sheboygan County can boast of nearly 20 percent of the companies that made the 2026 Deloitte Wisconsin 75 list of the largest private companies in Wisconsin by sales revenue. The list was announced on Wednesday.
The highest-ranked company was Northwestern Mutual of Milwaukee, representative of insurance company dominance as American Family of Madison (#3) and Sentry of Stevens Point (#11) also made the list along with Acuity of Sheboygan at #15. Three other insurance companies were also included among the 75.
Food manufacturing was prominent, and that’s where Sheboygan County shined brightest with Johnsonville at #23, Masters Gallery Foods of Plymouth at #24, and Sargento of Plymouth at #26.
Deloitte said that the 75 listed private companies share a commitment to growth, community and economic success.
