An argument in a West Bend hospital parking lot ended in an arrest on Wednesday after the disagreement became dangerous.
The incident began when a 20-year-old Milwaukee man and his former girlfriend, a 20-year-old West Bend woman, were leaving Froedtert Hospital in West Bend. The man refused to allow the woman into his car, prompting her to climb onto the hood as he drove through the parking lot. Security camera footage showed the vehicle accelerating, decelerating, and sharply weaving as it traveled with the woman on the hood.
The man eventually exited the car and forcefully removed the woman, who returned to the hood before being removed a second time, and the man left.
Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies became involved and tracked the vehicle to I-41 and County Line Road near Germantown. The man was taken into custody on a charge of Second-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
