Fire Destroys Tractor, but Crews Prevent Further Damage

Fire has struck a dairy operation near Campbellsport, but quick action prevented more significant losses.  That fire happened a little before 9 PM on Wednesday night at Clover Hill Dairy, about 4-1/2 miles southwest of Campbellsport in the Township of Ashford.

Responders found a large John Deere 9460R tractor fully engulfed in flames on top of a haylage bunker.  Crews from the Lomira Fire Department and First Responders acted in time that only minor damage was done to the haylage and bunker, but the tractor is a total loss.

The fire isn’t considered suspicious, and there were no injuries.
