West Bend Police
West Bend police are looking into a suspicious discovery in a donation at St. Vincent de Paul.
Officers were called to the nonprofit’s building on Tuesday when somebody reported finding a grenade-like device in a pile of donated items. As it turns out, the item was an active flash-bang device, which uses a loud noise and flash as a distraction. Police don’t think the item was donated out of malice and probably came from somebody who didn’t know what it was. However, investigators would still like to find out where it came from.
