The Sheboygan Public Works committee has approved a contract to upgrade asphalt and paving at Evergreen Park. The committee voted to approve the bid from Northeast Asphalt at just under $200,000. The funding for those repairs was included in the 2026 Capital Projects Fund.
Northeast was the only company to submit a bid, and should the full common council approve the contract, work would begin In September and complete the following month. As the park’s road is closed for the season by construction time, the schedule should not interfere with public use and will also allow the popular Making Spirits Bright to be set up in time for the holidays.
