A new dementia-friendly choir is coming to Sheboygan thanks to a $5,000 grant awarded to the Friends of Uptown Social.
The funding from the Giving Voice Initiative will help launch the Janet L. Herrick Dementia-Friendly Choir, an inclusive program for people living with memory loss, their care partners, and anyone in the community who enjoys singing.
Rehearsals begin in September and will be held Thursday mornings at Uptown Social on North 8th Street. More information is available on Uptown Social’s Facebook page.
