One man is dead following a shooting in Fond Du Lac yesterday.
Police say the shooting occurred in the 800 block of South Main Street. Upon arrival, police found 3 men in a parking area adjacent to South Main, and a 22 year old Fond Du Lac man shot to death.
Police say a 26 year old man was identified as a person of interest and was taken into custody. He is currently being held at the Fond Du Lac County Jail, where he is charged with second degree homicide. Lt. Nick Hahn says the arrest is an important step in the investigation, but says it does not mark the end of it, as police continue to investigate the shooting.
