A Sheboygan man is facing his 7th OWI charge after a car vs house crash on Sunday.
Sheboygan police say that officers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash that struck a house in the 1800 block of Superior Ave on Sunday. Upon arrival, officers located a 54-year-old Sheboygan man, who was identified as the only person in the vehicle. The driver was transported to the hospital treatment.
His case was referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for a charge of 7th offense OWI. If convicted of the Class F felony he faces a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 3 years, up to 12-1/2 years in total prison time, and fines of up to $25,000.
